CAFÉIDOSKOP
Caféidoskop courtyard café had its grand opening in Prague, Czech Republic in July. We have been busy this summer designing their logo, signage, menus, business cards, customer rewards cards, posters and website. Our use of woodcut-style type and our choice of natural, textured paper reflects the down-to-earth comfort of the café. High-quality materials were used to reinforce the care shown in the owner’s selection of gourmet coffee and edibles. We are pleased to be using Gmund paper at Caféidoskop. Gmund papers are Forest Stewardship Council certified, tree-free and surpass all international environmental regulations by far.
If you are travelling to Prague be sure to drop by Caféidoskop at Lazarská 8 in Prague 2.

BIRCH LIBRALATO GALLERY
Birch Libralato is a contemporary commercial art gallery representing recognized Canadian and international artists. Over the past year we have updated the gallery’s branding, designed ads for Canadian Art, C Magazine and Border Crossings and, more recently, designed their new stationery and invitations. We are currently redesigning the gallery’s website and creating a database so that they can easily update it themselves.
For more information about Birch Libralato and their outstanding artists go to www.birchlibralato.com. Stay tuned for the launch of their new website.

 EVANGELICAL BALANCE SHEET
This summer we completed this book cover for Wilfrid Laurier University Press’ new title: Evangelical Balance Sheet: Character Family and Business in Mid-Victorian Nova Scotia. The book “explores the important role of character ideals and evangelicalism in mid-Victorian culture.” We used an image of the family that the author studied for the book woven with a Gaelic poem, written in Nova Scotia during the 19th Century, to create the illusion of a hand-written balance sheet.

GOAL: ONTARIO LITERACY FOR DEAF PEOPLE
G.O.L.D. is a provincial umbrella organization that provides accessible and culturally relevant training, research, networking and resources to the Deaf and Deafblind literacy community in Ontario. We worked with Executive Director Peggy Anne Moore to develop a brochure with a sophisticated but friendly design that worked within their budget.
