Unite for Sight: Educating Children to Care for Their Eyesight

We have been working with Jennifer Staple, President and CEO of Unite for Sight, to develop a series of educational animations to teach children about how to take care of their eyesight. The result is twelve illustrated animations on subjects such as diabetes, nutrition and trachoma which will soon be posted on Unite for Sight’s website.
Unite For Sight is a non-profit organization that empowers communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness. More than 4,000 volunteers work in ninety chapters established at universities, medical schools, corporations, high schools, and in communities throughout the world. Additionally, Volunteer Teams are sent to 25 countries to provide eye care and eye health education programs to medically under served communities.

Visite Design Montréal

If you are planning a trip to Montreal check out the Visite Design Montréal website, it is an excellent resource for places to visit such as cultural buildings and restaurants that are distinguished by their great design.

From the website:

Why Montréal Design Tour?
For several years now, Montréal has been undergoing extensive urban renewal: creation of design centres like the Canadian Centre for Architecture and the Institute of Design Montréal; revitalization of a number of neighbourhoods such as the Quartier International and the Quartier du multimédia. Montréal Design Tour offers a variety of inner-city journeys for discovering Montréal assets that are testimony to its cultural, intellectual and economic vitality. Institutions, restaurants, specialty boutiques and public places chosen for their unique traits are exemplary achievements by our own designers - be they in architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, industrial design, interior design or graphic design.
